Sri VidyaMandir Higher Secondary School, Kondalampatty is different, in that we try not to have rigid, pre-formed theoretical frameworks into which to fit our students. Every student is an independent human being who will create his/her own destiny and has special requirements to fulfill that end. Hence, we distil the essence of educational philosophy in the eastern as well as the western traditions and see how this essence can best help our students fulfil their own purposes in life.
Education is not only the ready access to ‘off-the-shelf information’ but also about the development of critical awareness and the ability to transform what one is given into something more meaningful. Thus, it is a great challenge to use knowledge in this direction.
We not only impart text book knowledge but strive to ensure to encourage the inquisitiveness in every young mind. The essence of this institution is to prepare the student for his/her life when education takes its true course.
My role as a chairperson is to educate your wards towards a successful life and one who will also contribute to mankind and every living being on this planet in some way concurrent to his/her capacity.
